How to submit proposals to the Aritect governance system, including eligibility requirements and submission process.

Proposal submission

Eligibility requirements:

Minimum 200 veARITECT governance tokens (100 available + 100 for bond).
Account must be active for at least 14 days.
Maximum 1 active proposal per address.

Proposal structure:

Title: Clear, descriptive (maximum 100 characters).
Description: Detailed explanation (maximum 1,000 words).
Expected impact: Quantifiable benefits to platform/community.

Submission process:

Lock 100 veARITECT as proposal bond (locked until proposal resolution).
Locked veARITECT is not subject to decay during the proposal period.
Development team reviews within 48 hours for technical feasibility and platform alignment.

Bond outcomes:

Approved + passes vote: Bond unlocked + 30% of reward pool + 200 veARITECT bonus.
Approved + fails vote: Bond unlocked, no reward.
Rejected by dev team: Bond burned (100 veARITECT lost).

Proposer limits

To protect active proposers from excessive losses while maintaining accountability:

Monthly loss cap: Maximum 20% of veARITECT balance can be lost through rejected proposals per month.
Bond scaling: Proposers with higher veARITECT can optionally increase bond for higher potential rewards.
Recovery mechanism: Successful proposals restore proposer standing and reset monthly loss counter.

Bond scaling formula:

Proposer invariant:

─λmax ≤ ΔveARITECT ≤ ρ + β

Where:
  ΔveARITECT = net change in governance power
  λmax      = monthly loss cap (20% of balance)
  ρ         = base reward (+200)
  β         = bond bonus (scales with bond amount)

Example for proposer with 1,000 veARITECT:
  λmax = 1000 × 0.20 = 200 veARITECT max loss/month
