Governance Overview

The Aritect Community Governance System empowers active ecosystem participants to shape the platform's future through a participation-based, attack-resistant voting mechanism.

The Aritect Community Governance System empowers active ecosystem participants to shape the platform’s future through a participation-based, attack-resistant voting mechanism. Unlike traditional token voting systems, Aritect governance is built on the principle that influence should be earned through participation, not purchased with capital.

Two-token model

Aritect governance separates economic rights from voting rights:

  • $ARITECT: Economic token for trading, staking, and platform utility. Fully transferable.
  • veARITECT: Governance token for voting power. Non-transferable, earned through ecosystem participation.

This separation eliminates common attack vectors like DeFi lending exploits, vote buying through wrapper contracts, and exchange custody manipulation.

Core principles

  • Participation-based influence: Voting power is earned through ecosystem engagement, not token purchases.
  • Attack resistance: Complete separation of $ARITECT and veARITECT prevents DeFi-based governance attacks.
  • Active engagement: Governance power decays without participation, ensuring active community governance.
  • Innovation incentives: Quality proposals are rewarded through treasury-funded reward pools.
  • Voter rewards: Participants earn $ARITECT rewards for voting on successful proposals, plus +100 veARITECT for every vote cast.
  • Deflationary mechanics: $ARITECT burns on successful proposals. Rejected submissions burn veARITECT (governance power), not $ARITECT.
  • Transparent execution: All governance activities are publicly verifiable on Solana blockchain.
  • Quality assurance: Development team moderation ensures technical feasibility and platform alignment.
